Description
The ATmega328 preloaded with the Arduino UNO Bootloader (16MHz), two 16Mhz crystals and a 28-pin DIP socket.
Allows you to use Arduino code in your custom project without having to use an actual Arduino board.
To get this chip working with Arduino IDE, you will need the included 16Mhz crystal and an external 5V power supply, or you can use a USB cell phone converter to power the chip and upload the schematics as you do with your Arduino.
If you are not comfortable, we recommend purchasing the Arduino UNO board which has everything built into the board.
Atmel ATMega328 8-Bit processor in 28-pin DIP. It's similar to the ATmega168, with double the flash space. 32K of program space. 23 I/O lines, 6 of which are channels for the 10-bit ADC. Runs up to 20MHz with external crystal. The package can be programmed in circuit.
